Rumman is housed within one of Amman’s oldest stone-built homes, a space shaped by the generations who lived, created, and gathered here before.
Today, it continues as part of that living history.
Our Story
Rumman is a social and cultural collective rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and community.
Founded in 2018, Rumman brings together diverse yet connected experiences within a welcoming house shaped to nurture expression, curiosity, and connection.
At its core is a commitment to meaningful creation. Through Silsal Crafts at Ruwwad al Tanmeya, Rumman supports a community of adults with varying disabilities from Jabal Al Natheef, whose work in painting and pottery reflects both individual talent and a shared spirit. A portion of Rumman’s revenue is returned to the workshop, sustaining a model built on continuity and care.
The Showroom & Shop celebrates handcrafted design from the region alongside curated pieces from across the world, objects chosen for their story, materiality, and presence.
The Kitchen & Bar offers a contemporary expression of Mediterranean and Arab flavours, where food and drink are approached with the same attention to detail, balance, and identity.
Together, these spaces form a living, evolving collective; one that invites exploration, supports creativity, and brings people into a shared experience of culture in motion.
